He is survived by: his wife Linda Ferschweiler of Saint Paul, Oregon.; his children, Rick, Lisa (Merck), Tim and Billy; his son-in-law Ken Rueckert of Vancouver, Washington; his son Mike Merck of Portland; his grandson Dr. Billy; his sons, Kat and Felix Merck of Camas, Washington; and his brother-in-law Don Ferschweiler of St. Paul, Oregon..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions can be made to Holy Cross Catholic School, the Portland Peninsula Optimist Club, or Legacy Hospice (Portland).
