He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wampler and Alice Wampler; his wife Naomi; and his brother Ronald. He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Wampler and Trudy Lewis; his children, Naomi Diallo and Ronald Wampler; his grandchildren, Tiara Wampler and Amadou Diallo; and his significant other Judy Rose.

For those wishing to express their condolences, the family suggests a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
