She was predeceased by: her brother Brent. She is survived by: her parents, Ronald Joseph and Carol Ann Blum (Ridgway); her siblings, Brad and Shellie; and her children, Dashiel and Josie.

While in school, she worked at the campus plasma donor center as a phlebotomist, sticking donors with needles for their plasma donations.
