It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verola Jump (Portland, Oregon), born in College Place, Washington, who passed away on March 29, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Pflugrad and Thelma Grace Pflugrad (Eisenhardt); her husband Harry Demain Jump; and her siblings, Winton Morley Pflugrad, Chester Allen Pflugrad, Muriel Laureen Benninger and Dolores June Bafus.
She is survived by: her uncle Hood River; her cousin Wilmer; her close friend Dorothy Mae "Dottie" White; her daughter Vanessa; her son-in-law Shannon Nelson of Portland; her grandsons, Brandon Nelson (Eva) of Oak Harbor and Tyler Nelson (Kaya) of Portland, Oregon; her great grandchild Arthur; and her siblings, Gerald Afton Pflugrad of Sun City, Clifford Malcolm Pflugrad of College Place, Robert Melvin Pflugrad (Scarlett) of Pasco and Rita Clay-Prusia (Merle) of Monroe, Washington. She is also survived by 48 nieces and nephews, and countless grandnieces and nephews and great grandnieces and nephews.
