It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Brooks (Roseburg, Oregon), born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ellis Leedy and Loretta Nadean Leedy (Viles); her former husband Donald Guiley; her husband Paul Brooks; and her brothers, Byron, Douglas and Robert Leedy.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Pat and James Brooks; her niece Marianne Freitas; and her nephew Allan Leedy.
Her long life encompassed the two pandemics of contemporary history: the Spanish flu of 1918 and the current coronavirus.
