He is survived by: his wife Verna Rowlett; his son Melvin Rowlett Jr. (Corey); his stepsons, Kenneth Granger (Amy) of Philippines and David Granger of Roseburg; his brother Raymond Rowlett (Judy) of Mansfield; his granddaughter Donna Rose Keith; his close friend Donna Collier; his sisters-in-law, Donna McCoy and Linda Birch; and his niece Kim Neifert. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, with many nieces nephews and cousins.
