He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Opal Thomas; his son James; and his sister Vonda. He is survived by: his wife Nannette of Roseburg; and his children, Cindy (Jim Mathies), Raelyn (Jeremi Sullivan) and John (April Thomas). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 ½ great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
