It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Fowler (Roseburg, Oregon), who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her siblings, Edwin and Irene; her daughter Carolyn Louise; and her son-in-law Jerry Gaffney.
She is survived by: her friend Connie; her children, Janice Gaffney, Rick Fowler (Peggy) and Shirley Brady (Tim); and her friend Lois Nylin. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
In the COVID-19 crisis, with the inability of the pastoral staff to conduct Sunday services, she and her friend, Connie, took it upon themselves to continue holding both Sunday Services and Thursday Bible Studies for the residents.
