She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Howard, Sr.; her siblings, Nona Barnekoff, Irene Johnston and Elbert Gunter; her son-in-law Michael Morris; Mindy.
She is survived by: her parents, Rosanah Jane (Murr) and Christopher Columbus Gunter; her children, Violet, Susan Pipkins (Tom) of Cusick, WA, Phyllis Morris of The Dalles, OR and James W. Howard, Jr. of Salem, OR; her grandchildren, Melanie Hansen (Mark), Aaron Pipkins, Heidi Byers (William), Travis Pipkins, Kimberly Cox (Joshua) and Jaime Chavez (Rene); and her great grandchildren, Clara, Gabriel, Ashton, Annah, Jadyn, Kayla, Mia, Shelby, Nathan, Keaton, Adalee and Liam.
