He is survived by: his spouses, Sandra Kompsi and Ashley; his siblings, Francine Pfaff (Jim) and John Laitala (Patti); his children, Sandra Helnore, Lezlee (Dann) and Aaron Laitala; his grandchildren, Cody Klaus, Logan Klaus and Cassondra Klaus; his siblings' children, Debbie Snider, Vicki Narolski, Kelly Weng and John Laitala Preceded; and his parents, Arne Laitala and Taimi Laitata (Nancy Laitala).
