He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Marquardt and Anna E. Esch. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Darlene Marquardt; and his siblings, Jim Marquardt, Jan Fancher, Mary Lowry, Danelle Wiese and Sonia Fuller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
