He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ethel Harman Wilson and Reuben Walter Wilson; his children, Dale Wilson (Jen) and Makala; and his wife Laurie Holdner-Wilson.

In Phil's later years he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and died from complications from this disease.
