With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Walter (Salem, Oregon), born in Silverton, Oregon, who passed away on April 29, 2020 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alfred Walter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Flue and Elise Von Flue (Stadeli); and his daughter-in-law Sue Von Flue (Douglas). He is survived by: his sister Aldine; his wife Marie Montandon; his children, Paula Moore (Robert), Lester Von Flue (Laura), Douglas Von Flue and Lisa Oster (Gene); and his siblings, Rose Rustin and Arnold Von Flue. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alfred's name to the Union Gospel Mission in Salem or the Silverton Meals on Wheel.
