She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Edwin and Sadie Johnsen; her sister Phyllis (Tom); her children, Jay Paterson (Marsha), Eric Paterson (Kim) and Sara Casebeer (Christopher); her grandchildren, Tommy Paterson (Chelsea), Joe Paterson (Carley), Sam Paterson (Hilary), Megan Welliver (Lucas), Sally Casebeer, Chad Casebeer, Josh Paterson, Drew Paterson, Sadie Paterson and Gracie Paterson; and her husband Tom Paterson. She was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, she has requested a donation to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in her memory.
