She was predeceased by: her son David E. Buchanan, Jr.; and her parents, John Toews and Wilma Toews. She is survived by: her daughter Tracy; her son-in-law Matt Rasmussen; her daughter Ginarai; her son-in-law Ray Myrick; her stepson Darrell McDonald; her siblings, Jackie Knapp and John Toews; and her aunt Joanne Borsberry. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
