She was predeceased by: her husband Warren Gift Caples; and her siblings, Lorraine Wolfe, Louise Applegate, Iola Dupey, Harvey Davis, Richard Davis and Orland Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Diem of Albuquerque, Carol Wells (Jay) of Wichita and Pam Caples (Bill Carpenter) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Morgan Wells Stremmel (Josh) of Wichita, Aaron Carpenter and Kelsey Caples of Springfield; and her sisters, Betty Totten Kernohan of Wellington, Delores McDaniel of Attica and Pauline Hacker of Derby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to First United Methodist Church in Wellington or the Wellington Humane Society.
