He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Bondelid and Ruth Bondelid; and also Pete Peterson. He is survived by: his spouse Florentina (Flory); his sister Shirley Finley; his sons, Alan (Tina) and Gary (Gay); and also, Melanie (Richard) and Eric (Linn). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mohawk Community Church.
