It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Leroy Acker MD of Tigard, Oregon, born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Robert Leroy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert Leroy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (4101 NW Skyline Blvd, Portland, OR 97229). A reception will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
