“This news truly leaves me empty. Words can't express how amazing Miguel was not only as a doctor but a compassionate person who truly helped and cared for anyone around him. I was lucky enough to spend 3 years in a relationship with Miguel and we remained great friends over the years, I now hold guilt for not reaching out more and checking on him, but I knew he was consumed with his work as a doctor. He brought such happiness and laughter to mine and my daughter's life, and we are lost now.”
