He was predeceased by: his parents, Alec Lewis and Leola Lewis; and his sisters, Shirley and Margaret. He is survived by: his wife Ruth P. Lewis; his children, Walter Lewis (Maureen), Raymond Lewis (Carol Knight), Paula Morris (Wayne) and Diane Lewis (Will Jacobs); and his grandchildren, Elyse Morris, Hannah Lewis (Jacob Barish), Emma Jacobs and Bryce Jacobs.
