He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Stone (Mulligan); his parent James Stone; and his sisters, Betty Black, Alice "Susie" Hoffman and Jean Snyder.
He is survived by: his parent Mary Stone Sommers (Swartz); and his children, Margaret Stone Higgins (Thomas), Catherine T. Stone-Brooks (Kevin) of Kanata, Ontario, Susan F. Stone (Valery Dugain) of Paris, France, James J. Stone (Jaime) of Warrington, PA and Robert J. Stone (Teresa) of Sarasota, FL.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
