She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bachert and Angeline Bachert (Yanus); her husband Herbert John Steinert; her siblings, Edward, Joseph Bachert, Diane and Doris Bachert; and her son-in-law Carl Long.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy A. Sterner (Robert) of Schuylkill Haven and Christine Long (late Carl) of Schuylkill Haven; her grandchildren, Eric Hosler (Justine), Dr. Kevin Long (Rachel) and Nicole Sterner (Billy Webber); her great grandchildren, Mariah Litton, Cameron, Emily, Wyatt Hosler, Sophia, Savannah and Everly Webber; and her siblings, Arlene Faust of Coplay, Anna Goldfeder of Coplay, John Bachert of Coplay, Betty Remaly of Coplay and Patricia Zellner of Coplay. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to St. Paul's Lutheran Church 215 North Warren Street Orwigsburg, PA 17961.
