He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Russel Loomis and Kathryn Loomis; his children, Louise Bowman (Dennis Bowman) and James R. Loomis (Janice); his niece Kathie Brooks (Jeffery Brooks); his grandchildren, Heather (Bowman), Larrimore (Scot), Laura Pimentel (Bowman), James R. Loomis, Jr. (Madelyn White), Christine (Loomis) and Jurgielewicz (Joseph III); his great grandchild James R. Loomis III; his wife Mary Elizabeth Loomis (Homan); and his siblings, Walter Loomis and Fern Derr.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eddie's memory may be made to Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, or the Shriners Hospital for Children at a location nearest you.
