She was predeceased by : her parents, Pat Murphy and Marie Murphy; her brothers, Jimmy and David Murphy; her son-in-law Frederick Burkholder, Jr.; and her stepson Gregory Shaeffer.
She is survived by : her husband Thomas B. Shaeffer, Sr.; her children, Dawn Ambrose-Flanagan (Troy) and Michael Ambrose; her stepson Thomas Shaeffer, Jr.; her grandchildren, Brian (Katlyn Gentry), Chris Gentry (Erika Hensel), Alexis Burkholder, Angel Burkhholder, Dakota Ambrose, Briar Ambrose and Jocelynn Smith; her great grandchildren, Joelynn Gentry, Braxton Burkholder, Korah Burkholder and Harmony James; and her sister Sandy (Tom Galonsky). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
