She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas E. Locher; her parents, Edward Clay Tate and Della Tate (Wilson); her brother Wyatt Tate; and her stepchildren, Thomas Locher and Elizabeth Locher-White.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Holdren, Mark Holdren and Deborah Locher; and her nephew Michael Locher. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5731 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24012).
