It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Faye McGowan of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Larkin McGowan and Ruthie Lee Jones (Cooley); her sisters, Rosezena Taylor and Bernice Gantt; and her nephew Bryan Jones.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Larkin McGowan, Cortez McGowan, Devion Boykin, Cory Boykin and Keiaundria Boykin; her husband Rondy Williams Sr.; her children, Alonzo McGowan of Long Beach, CA and Chiara Boykin of Erie, PA; her siblings, Dennis McGowan (Diann) of Mississippi, Bennie McGowan (Latrece) of Long Beach, CA, Gloria Price (Mark) of Long Beach, CA, Cherri Spencer (Robert) of Mississippi and Sonja June of Mississippi; and her close friend Peggy Sparks. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel Apostolic Church (229 E 16th St, Erie, PA 16503). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
