He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernice Johnson and Charlie Johnson; his wife Delores Johnson; and his siblings, Melvin Johnson (Jay Boy), Charlene Johnson and Denise Johnson.

He is survived by : his stepdaughter LaRon Flint; his grandson Paul Wekel; his brothers, Cornelius Johnson, Anthony Johnson, Andrew Johnson and Charles Pope; his children, Annette Hines, Charlie Hines-Charlotte and Toni Hines; his stepchildren, Latonia Moore (James) of Seattle, WA and Lorie Tyson of Tacoma, WA.; and his close friends, Cayden Townsend (Quacky), Von Kittrell and Charlene Hines Johnson.
