Dorothy (Cholak) Lancos Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy (Cholak) Lancos (Aliquippa, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cholak and Mary Cholak (Bacha); and her husband Andy Lancos, Sr.. She is survived by: her grandson Andy "Gucci" Lancos III; her sister Mary Ann Sopko (Joseph); her children, Andy (Carol Lancos, Jr.), Deborah Lancos DeCostro (Ron DeCostro) and Linda (Ben Koda II); her grandchildren, Andria Coble, Jr. (William), Sheela Miller (Michael), Kayla Edgar (Matthew) and Jonathan DeCostro; and her great grandchildren, Ily Grace Coble, Brynnley "Princess" Edgar, Giovanni Otlowski and Everley "Sunshine" Edgar. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home, Inc. (2026 McMinn St, Aliquippa, PA 15001). A prayer was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Frances Cabrini Church - Mary (115 Trinity Dr, Aliquippa, PA 15001-1496).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in memory of Dorothy to Penn State THON.
