He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward T. Murphy, Sr. and Hildegarde Wilhelmina Murphy (Ostro) of Aliquippa; and his siblings, Elenore, Mary Katherine (Kate) and John (Jonny).

He is survived by: his wife Betty Louise Murphy (Patton) of Center Township. He is also survived by three boys and their spouses.

In lieu of flowers donation to the Shriners would be appreciated.
