He was predeceased by: his brother Louis Katz. He is survived by: his wife Betty Mallinger Katz; his sons, David Katz and Richard Katz; and his siblings, Ruth Erlich and Arthur Katz.
A private graveside burial service was held at the Shaare Torah Cemetery, Pittsburgh In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are sugggested to Liberty Dialysis Clinic, 400 Commerce Drive, Aliquippa, Pa. 15001 Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. Ambridge.
