He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton D. Herring and Mabel Herring (Sunday); and his brother Donald Herring. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Herring (Kunkel); his sons, Michael Herring and Steven Herring (Sharon) of Allentown; his brother Irvin Herring of Lenhartsville, PA; and his grandchildren, Tyler and Leah Herring.

Contributions may be made to the Cedar Church.
