He is survived by: his spouse Barbara M. Dougherty (Kindt); his parent Grace Dougherty (Oswald); his children, Charles A. Jr., Daniel B. of Whitehall, Ricky and Sheri-Lee (Andrew Gode) of Leesburg, VA.; his siblings, Donald, Bruce, Judy (James Heffelfinger) of Whitehall and Eleanor; and his granddaughter Samantha.
