He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Schimeneck; and his stepson Francis Steckel. He is survived by: his spouse Frances K. Schimeneck (Brown); his parent Bertha Schimeneck (Gaal); his stepchildren, Irene Boulu and Daniel Steckel; his brothers, William Schimeneck and Joseph Schimeneck; and his stepgrandchildren, Nicolas, Thomas Boulu and Isabelle Steckel.
