He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Merics; and his brother Richard A. Merics. He is survived by: his parent Lina Merics (Voros); his wife Mary; his children, Karleen Beischl (Ray), Terri Anne Merics, Elizabeth Krah, Stephen Merics and Michael Merics; and his stepchildren, Sharon Meischeid, Jacqueline Smith, Tara Smith and Vincent Smith. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
