He is survived by: his parent Minnie Shafer (Ruppert); his sons, Jeff and Jeffrey (Melissa) of Fountain Hill; his granddaughters, Rachel Pacheco, Sarah Shafer and Elizabeth Shafer; and his siblings, Lillian Babb, Florence Eisentraut, Gary Shafer and Carl Shafer.
