He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Volkert and Sarah Volkert (Ziegler); and his daughter Vicky Kassis. He is survived by: his wife Joan E. Volkert (Manning); his children, Michael Volkert, Lynn Turoscy (David), Donna Volkert, Charles Volkert (Robin), Robert Volkert (JoAnn) and Amy Volkert (Jackie Gennello); and his sister Maryann Acker. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.
