She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara Pate; and her grandmother Nona Leona Daniels. She is survived by: her stepmother Lillie Daniels (Altonya Peterson); her former husband Gregory Brodie; her children, Renee Pate, Malcolm Brodie, Miles Brodie, Makeva Brodie and Mia Brodie; her grandchildren, Ladwaune Edwards and Imani Desiree Norman; and her siblings, Donald Pate, Richard Ford-Daniels, Demos Daniels, Crystal Flowers and Nina Daniels. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, wonderful cousins and dear friends.
