He was predeceased by: his parent John Madeya; his wife Irene Madea (Griech); and his siblings, Emma Zgebura (Madea), John Madea and Edward Madea.
He is survived by: his parent Justina Madeya (Kiss); his daughter Elaine (Madea); and his brother Bernard J. Madeja (Dorothy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
