She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Knauss and Myrtle Knauss (Miller); and her siblings, Alvin Knauss, Irene Zebrowski, Elaine Holenda and June Weber.

She is survived by: her husband James J. Verholy; her daughters, Karen L. Seabourne (Rick) of Mertztown and Kim E. Heffelfinger of Blandon; and her grandchildren, Casey Heffelfinger, Jennifer and Melissa Seabourne.
