She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pierce and Ethel Mae Pierce (Harwi). She is survived by: her husband Richard C. Jones; her children, Pamela Schaeffer and Christopher Jones (Jennifer); her niece Denise Mensinger; her grandsons, Matthew, Michael, Mark Schaeffer, Aaron and Romeo Jones; her great grandchildren, Owen, Chloe and Tegan Schaeffer; her sisters, Roberta Lyon and Marguerite Spalding; and her nieces and nephews, Susan Lyon Hailey, Cynthia, David Lyon, Daniel, Steven and Cheryl Spalding.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gwen's memory to The Boys and Girls Club Summer Camp Programs, 720 North 6th St. Allentown, PA 18102.
