He was predeceased by: his brother Donald E. Fix, Sr.; his son James D. Fix; and his granddaughter Dixie. He is survived by: his children, Carol A. Hecht (Fix) and Thomas Fix (Brenda). He is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
