He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Irene Verholy (Knauss); his parents, John Verholy, Sr. and Mary Verholy (Shipitka); and his brothers, John Verholy, Jr. and Thomas Verholy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen L. Seabourne (Rick) of Mertztown and Kim E. Heffelfinger of Blandon; his grandchildren, Casey Heffelfinger Rogol (Cory), Jennifer Seabourne Howells (Seth) and Melissa Seabourne Lesher (Cody); and his great grandchildren, Camryn Jaymes Rogol and Remi Howells.
