He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sassaman and Edna Sassaman (Acker). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Sassaman (Loyko); and his sister-in-law Annette M. Sheckler (Richard). He is also survived by Niece and Nephew, 2 Grandnieces and a Grandnephew; and several Cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
