He was predeceased by : his parents, John Fixl and Mary Fixl (Astl); his sisters, Marie Sechler and Anna Salvator; and his son-in-law Patrick Jenkins.

He is survived by : his wife Mary (Hughes); his daughters, Christine Alvarez (Luis), Amy Jenkins and Mimi Murphy (Thomas); his grandchildren, Connor, John Luis, Michael, Christopher, Jack, Morghan, Sean, George and Dylan; and his nieces, Barbara Scarlato and Helen Lentz.

A mass of christian burial was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (1040 Flexer Ave, Allentown, PA 18103).
