She was predeceased by: her parent Luther R. Shade. She is survived by: her spouse Donald E. Ruch; her parent Louise A. E. Shade (Peifley); her daughters, Deborah A. Costello (David) of Slatington, Donna L. Hammel (Richard) and Catasauqua; her sister Nancy Gambler; her grandchildren, Diana Galanti, Benjamin Hammel and Allison Hammel; and her great grandchild Jase Galanti.
