He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Bastian (Meck); his children, Linford S. Jr. (Michele), Cheryl (Nick Platco) and Eileen (Brian Wilson); his grandchildren, Jared, Chris, Rachel, Linford III and Jacob; and his siblings, Owen and Alethia Smith. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
