She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Lugo and Emila Lugo (Rios). She is survived by: her children, Yvette Zayas, Jose Zayas (Jean) and Manuel Zayas (Myra); and her siblings, Rev. Lugo, Zaida Mora, Elba Ortiz and Maria Nieves. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
