With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Vass of Allentown, Pennsylvania, born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 9, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony James and Antoinette James (Bruno); her son Joseph D. Vass; and her siblings, Annette Sabolchick, Eleanor Wilkites, Albert, John and William James.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Vass; her children, Jean Marie Vass of Allenton, Jo Ann Cosgrove (Daniel) of Quakertown, James A. Vass of Allentown and John A. Vass (Diane McDemus) of Coplay; her daughter-in-law Becky Rounds of Ridgely, MD; her grandchildren, Kimberly, Brian, Stephanie, D. Ryan, Evan and Naomi; her great grandchildren, Elijah and Paul; and her pet Ginger. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
