He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall A. Riu and Ester T. Riu (Mack); his wife Beatrice M. Riu (Mann); and his siblings, Raymond A. Riu and Marilyn F. Fox.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen M. Riu (Patty) of Erie, PA, James D. Riu (Beverly) of Hellertown, PA and Rebecca A. Riu of Allentown, PA; his grandchildren, Jessica, Angela and Kelsey; his great grandchildren, Doneven, Devin, Dominic and Nicholina; and his sister Lita M. Domanski.
