He was predeceased by: his wife Kay L. Hertzog (Gressler); and his parents, Evelyn J. Hertzog, (Falstich) and Paul F. Hertzog, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Paul F. "Buddy" Hertzog III (Patricia) and Kelly L. VanDerheyden (Robert); his grandchildren, Uriah J. (Erika), Patrick D. (Devin), Tyler B. and Evelyn L.; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Madiline Kay, Ziggy and Rory; and his sister Barbara Boyer (Richard). He is also survived by nieces; nephews.
